Rainy Day Art

Posted in Logan

What’s a kid to do on a rainy day?  Head to Eli’s little art studio tucked into a cozy hill filled with paints, glitter, brushes and friends of course.  The air was fresh and smelled of lush plants, music played and apple juice was served in mini goblets.  Inpiration, check!  Ambience, check!  Thanks for a lovely rainy afternoon Krasnoffs.

Farm Day

Posted in Marlo

Farm Day was great!  After spending a week reading about farm animals,  learning new farm songs and completing art projects, the kids enjoyed a pony, goats, chickens and bunnies.  Even Marlo had fun.

There have been several sightings of a shark breaching at Sunset Beach just off the Bel Air Beach Club in Pacific Palisades.  But only until recently has there been any photographic evidence.  Photographer and Horizons West Surf Shop owner Randy Wright, who I met through my last shark encounter(Shark Sighting) caught this series of remarkable shots of a 8 – 10 foot Great White.

In the same week this juvenile Thresher Shark washed ashore at the Bel Air Bay Club.

And yes, I still swim everyday.

Pony Rides

Posted in Logan

Who can resist a pony ride with friends?  The “guys” enjoyed pony rides at the Will Rogers Polo Club match today.

Crisp air and sunshine made it finally feel like fall.  While Marlo napped away a small cold Logan and I stayed indoors and worked on his holiday gifts.  Logan had fun drawing a paper cut-out of himself.

Logan wanted to know why the paper cut-out was taller.

Needed to make sure that his guitar was shorter than the paper cut-out

Pumpkin patches just aren’t for selecting bright orange pumpkins.  Carnival rides, ponies and games abound.
