My sister and I are always looking for something fun and new to do with the kids (ok, we like to be entertained too). Today we took Logan back to Lakewood Pony Adventures- an old boarding center that we visited as kids. For a mere $5 you can enjoy a pony ride in the corral (ages 1+) or pony trot (ages 3+), a cone of goat food, and a visit into the small petting zoo. We also walked around the stables and petted the horses, watched a great big horse get a bath which Logan thought was funny, and sat under a Sycamore for snacks while watching a jumping session. I tell ya it’s the best $5 of fun! And the place hasn’t changed a bit- and we love it that way!
