What’s a kid to do with all of their Halloween candy and treats?  Have a Halloween hunt and wear your costume of course!  Spider and Spider Man had a great time hunting for candy and acorns too.

Just shy of three feet tall, this truly is Itty Bitty soccer.  These tots were set with yellow socks and jerseys, Spider Man shoes, and shorts that needed to be rolled and twisted just to stay on.  Don’t know who had more fun- the kids or the parents.  A few kids escaped to the monkey bars and others took juice stops whenever they felt like it, but two in particular hung in there the whole time.

Desperately seeking disco, we headed to the Fashion District in Downtown LA.  On a normal weekday this is a challenge, but add a downpour of rain, Logan, a tall white guy wearing Crocs, a 20-minute attention span (uh that was mine), and you’ve got potential for disaster.  Needless to say, we did it!  After two tootsie pops, a bag of sliced watermelon, and many stops to “watch” as he described the battery-operated dogs, fishing games, frogs and dancing dollies, Logan hung in fairly well.  As for Sergei, he was a man on a mission needing only one stop-shop to find the perfect 70’s gear.  Everything was too short and tiny, or just even shorter and tinier for Natasha.  Finally, a stop at a bridal shop displayed the perfect dress.  The costume party celebrated Jennifer’s birthday and the dance floor, ghoulish drinks, and delicious food made it all worth it.

Success!  Logan wore his dragon costume.  After a Halloween carnival and parade at preschool yesterday, today was filled with even more activity.  A carnival at the playground with games, prizes, friends and candy.  After a mini party at Carly’s the kids enjoyed block upon block of trick-or-treating, decorative lights and scores of trick-or-treaters.  Guess who gets to eat all the tootie pops and kit-kats?  Me!!!
