We decorated bikes and cars, sewed up capes and masks, puffed up tutus and hair clips, made tissue paper flowers and pom poms, and drilled star centerpieces on to the kids’ bikes in preparation for the 4th of July festivities. Logan and Marlo and their buddies participated in “Kids on Bikes” again for our local parade. They waved, pedaled and cheered through three miles and three hours of fun. Later, they danced on stage and continued to rock out at the firework show.

Monsters was the theme for the day. Stories, songs and plays about monsters and Monster Toast were great activities for the kids. They also began a bigger art project and used watercolors for painting on fabric.
