Payment Policies

When is payment due?
Full payment is due 48 hours prior to the first session and 48 hours prior to a renewed session.

What payment methods do you accept?
Bear with us as we initiate a credit card authorization plan. Currently, we are able to accept payment in the form of personal checks made payable to PaliTutor.

Do you offer discounts?
Discounts are offered through advanced scheduling plans only. Please refer to our rate schedule.

Why do I need supplies?
Our school supplies are designed to supplement materials offered through the classroom and are necessary to assist your child’s academic development.

What is your refund policy?
We offer credit for future sessions. Credit is non-transferable and does not apply to cancellations made less than 48 hours of the scheduled session.


What are your hours?
Our normal operating hours are from 2:00pm to 9:00pm Monday through Friday. We offer weekend sessions from 8:00am to 6:00pm Saturday through Sunday. We also accommodate holidays and other special schedules outside of normal school hours.

How do I schedule times and dates?

What if I want to reschedule?
Rescheduling requires 48 hours advance notice.

What is your cancellation policy?
We require a 48 hour cancellation notice.

What if I want to change tutors?
We make every effort to match our tutors to your child’s study needs.


Do you provide sessions outside of the home?
We are very flexible in accommodating a safe study location of your choice.

Do I need to be present while a session is in progress?
All sessions conducted at private residences must be supervised by a parent or designated caregiver.

Can you pick up my child from school?
Our tutors are not authorized to transport students at any time.

What to Expect

How do you identify and evaluate my child’s needs?
PaliTutor conducts a comprehensive written and oral assessment of your student’s academic and study skills level prior to beginning instructional sessions.

How do you report progress?
We provide weekly reports on your child’s progress based on benchmarks set forth in our initial assessment.
